Roadtrip 2014: Vancouver - Yakima - Boise - Provo - Flagstaff - Tucson - Palm Springs - Paso Robles - Sacramento - Eureka - Bandon - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 44 - Paso Robles, Fiscalini Ranch

View from our Robles porch - a little turmoil in the skies today.

Just waiting for my company to arrive.

Squalls roll over the coastline.

The ranch preserve is teeming with a thick cover of coastal plantlife.

Today's Mystery Poo.

Once a resting spot - the erosion is so extreme that the bench had to go.

Fiscalini Ranch's rugged coastline runs straight into Cambria's high-rent district.

As we've pointed out many times in the past, there ain't nuthin' like a day at the beach.

Herons never care about the rules.

The drive back from Cambria featured near-zero visibility in the fog and black squalls of the day. Wendy skilfully avoids the local suicide deer.

After a day of wild weather there's nuthin' like a relaxing meal to end the day - awesome eats at La Cosecha in Paso Robles.
